Guidelines for Insurance Coverage: Insurance Claim Process

Patient Information

Upon Admission:

  • Proceed to the Insurance Desk.
  • Submit your insurance details and Know Your Customer (KYC) documents.
  • The Insurance Desk will initiate the preauthorization process.
  • The preauthorization response from the insurance company typically takes between 3 to 6 hours.

Upon Discharge:

  • Obtain the necessary documents from the Nurses Station.
  • The Insurance Desk will submit an enhancement request.
  • Upon approval from the insurance company, you will be notified.
  • Proceed to the Billing Counter for final bill settlement.
  • Refunds, if any, will be processed upon actual realization of the enhanced amount from the insurance company.
  • The enhancement approval process usually takes 2 to 6 hours.
